3XN and GXN has promoted partner Jeanette Hansen to Chief Executive Officer. In her new role, Hansen will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s many large projects in Scandinavia and abroad. She replaces Morten Stahlschmidt.
“We are delighted that Jeanette has agreed to become our new CEO,” said Kim Herforth Nielsen, Founder and Creative Director of 3XN. “She knows the firm’s DNA, is a very talented architect who has a keen understanding of the building process and is respected within the industry. We are confident that she is the right person to help lead the firm as we prepare to celebrate our 30th anniversary next year and continue to realize architecture of the highest quality.”
"-At the same time, we want to thank Morten Stahlschmidt. He has made a large contribution, but we have realized that the company needs another profile to lead. We wish Morten the best of luck in the future”, Kim Herforth Nielsen says.
Jeanette Hansen joined 3XN in 2004 and served as project architect and project manager on a variety of large and complex projects, including the new Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney, Australia, which is currently in design, as well as the Swedbank Headquarters in Sundbyberg, Sweden, and KPMG and Horten office buildings in Copenhagen. Hansen, 42, holds a Master in Architecture from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture in Copenhagen.
Hansen will work closely with 3XN’s three Senior Partners, especially Kim Herforth Nielsen, who will continue to guide the firm’s business development and design strategies.
