Kasper Guldager Jorgensen has since 2007 led 3XN's innovation unit GXN, with great success. "Kasper's expertise in innovation and green development of the building industry is a huge strength for the studio, and we are therefore delighted to have him as a partner," says Principal and Creative Director of 3XN, who, like Kasper, sees great potential in GXN's work development of more sustainable building culture.
During his time at 3XN, Kasper led a number of groundbreaking projects such as the design of the Restaurant NOMA’s experimental food lab and the design of Louisiana Pavilion - an experimental installation of new green and intelligent materials, consisting of such soybeans, flax and cork. Most recently, Kasper developed the design for the Green Solution House, a sustainable conference center on the island of Bornholm, and curated the exhibition “Material World” in cooperation with the Danish Architecture Center.
"Only a few years ago it was entirely new in the industry to start a research and development department, so it's satisfying to see how 3XN now takes the next step and gives GXN the opportunity to pursue the potential and business opportunities that lie in building innovation", says Kasper Guldager Jorgensen
