To GXN, Experimental Design is crucial for the contious pushing of the boundaries between digital potential and the physically attainable. The digital age has changed our society and has provided designers, engineers and architects with completely new tools. Today we operate with concepts like scripting, animation, parametric and algorithmic design. However, the use of new software is more than just digitizing traditional architecture, it is a new practice. In order to develop ourselves and our surroundings, the potentials of new design and production methods are constantly challenged and developed.
"Without play and experimentation we cannot break free from the conventional and commonplace. Digital technologies are interesting, but futile unless challenged and realized"
- Kasper Guldager Jensen, Director, GXN
